On 6 and 7 December 2012 Joint Technical Secretariat, in cooperation with Serbian EU Integration Office and European Union Delegation to the Republic of Serbia, organized two-day implementation seminar for Serbian beneficiaries that received grants under the 2nd Call for Proposals of IPA Cross-border Programme Croatia-Serbia. Purpose of the seminar was to inform grant beneficiaries what is expected of them and what the steps in the implementation of their projects are.
On the first day 52 participants learned about who is responsible for implementation, how to manage project, project documentation, financial part of project management. They have been informed on reporting obligations within projects and on changes in
contract that require reallocations and/or contract addendum. Main topics of the second day were secondary procurement and communication and visibility requirements that need to be met.
On both days the participants had the opportunity to ask representatives of their Contracting Authority - EUD Serbia - all questions regarding implementation of their projects and to clear any dilemma they might have had. Presentation used on the seminar can be found here.
