Four information sessions held in Serbia

Four information sessions for Cross-border Programme Croatia-Serbia were held in Serbia, in each of the districts within the Programme area. All four information sessions were organized with the technical support of local governments in the four cities where they took place. The total number of participants was 250.

Information sessions were held in:

  • Sombor, in West Bačka District, on 26 March 2015, with 49 participants;
  • Subotica, in North Bačka District, on 27 March 2015, with 26 participants;
  • Sremska Mitrovica, in Srem District, on 30 March 2015, with 57 participants and
  • Novi Sad, in South Bačka District, on 31 March 2015, with 118 participants.

Cross-border program and details related to the recently published Third call for proposals were presented through Power point presentation, covering topics: Guidelines for Applicants, Application Form, Procedures for applying and selection process. The presenters were Tatjana Guberinić, Task Manager at the JTS Antenna office, Darko Cvejić, Task Manager at the JTS Antenna office and Milan Žeželj, Programme associate in Serbian European Integration Office.

At the meetings Sombor and Subotica, presenters were joined by Matilda Copić and Vedran Olujić from Agency for Regional Development of the Republic of Croatia. At the meetings in Sremska Mitrovica and Novi Sad, presenters were joined by Ivana Mršić, Task Manager in JTS in Zagreb and George Papagiannis, Project manager at the Delegation of European Union to the Republic of Serbia. Info day In Novi Sad was also attended by Natalija Matunović - Milosevic, Head of the CBC programs with potential candidate countries and candidate countries, from Serbian European Integration Office.

After the entire presentation, participants got the opportunity to ask general questions and receive the answers. Representatives of local and regional media (newspapers, radio and TV) were also present at the meetings.

Third call for proposal closes on 1 June 2015.
